when those times someone else had:
so –
he’s been thinking hard about it
sat atop
an Upton quayside bollard
and working on the last
of forty different reasons
for her agreeing every day
of their school holidays
just to go
aboard this season’s
summer ferry –
taking her
out with him to Tewkesbury.
