War between his fingers,
Whore between his toes.
Tragedy on one arse-cheek:
noble sons in rows.
The needler sprays some acetone
to make worn flesh adhere
to the clipping Bob has chosen
to illustrate this year.
Lower back, on the left
Cheaper cars abroad
across from, fresh as linen,
Scandal on the ward.
On the moon across his chest
Now it’s colour telly!
Three women on my face at once
jeering on his belly.
Victory by Christmas -
the first, is still quite clear
and spurs him every time he’s bathed
to spit a bitter cheer
for all the dreams he’s had then jinxed,
by skipping a disclaimer.
Grace Kelly on his mottled arm
in tears and who can blame her?
Going through a hundred
his uncrisp cluttered skin’s
the only mark he’ll ever make
so let the font begin
