DC Andersson is the editor of Tempo poetry magazine. He has published widely in contemporary poetry magazines (including in the last year Great Works, The Interpreters House, Weyfarers and
Purple Patch). He is working on a study of Ian Caws.
Peter Asher has poetry published in anthologies and about a dozen magazines. Born and raised in Scunthorpe. He also writes about a character called Pooly Boy.
Luis BenÃtez was born in Argentina (1956). His 9 books of poetry, 2 essays and 2 novels were published in Argentina, Chile, Mexico,
Uruguay, USA and Venezuela. He has received many International awards for both his fiction and poetry.
Graham Burchell was born in 1950 in Canterbury, England and now lives in Texas. He is widely published and has won many poetry competition and, was nominated for a 2006 Pushcart Prize. His first collection From The Right Side of the Pond will be published by Sun Rising Press in 2007.
Greg Buddery was born in 1981 and lives in Guildford. He is a graduate of the University of Leicester where he was Arts Editor. Ken Champion is a widely published poet in magazines and anthologies in the UK and US. He has published two collections of
poetry, African Time and Cameo Poly (Tall-lighthouse) and is currently working on his next collection. He also co-hosts More Poetry at London’s Borough Market.
Ailbhe Darcy's poems have previously appeared in The Wolf, The Stinging Fly, Revival, Smoke, Chroma and The Burning Bush. She writes critically for New Hope International, The Danforth Review and www.curledup.com and co-edits an online journal of new art and writing, called Moloch.
Leo Glaister is 18 years old and was born in the sunny month of August in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Since leaving school with his A-levels he has been travelling around the UK. Despite his love of writing, he intends to study Theatre at Glasgow.
Jan Oskar Hansen is a poet, story teller and seafarer, born in Norway. His poems have been published widely in magazines and anthologies. His collections include Letters from Portugal (BeWrite Books, 2003), Lunch in Denmark (Lightningsource, 2005) and La Strada (Lapwing, 2006).
Chris Hardy lives in London. His poems have been published widely in magazines including Stand, Smith’s Knoll and
Pennine Platform. He was a prize winner in recent National Poetry and London Writers’ competitions. He also plays guitar in the blues rock band BIG ROAD (www.bigroad.net).
Aoi Matsushima was born, educated and worked in Tokyo before she came to the UK in 1997 to become a writer in English. Her stories have won several awards and ‘Diving in Tokyo’ was published by Penguin in its anthology Volume 1: New Voices from A Diverse Culture in November 2006.
Jenny Mills is a nineteen year old from Cornwall. She plays folk fiddle and has just left a Quaker Boarding school after taking A Levels in English, French and Biology. She prefers writing to driving.
Sally Morten was conceived after her Dad had been out drinking Guinness with Uncle Charlie. She was born in Nottingham and has created things for as long as she can remember. She designed fashion until three years ago when she started to write.
Michelle O’Sullivan lives on the west coast of Ireland. She writes poetry and short fiction. Her work has appeared in Iota, Mobius, Mslexia, The Shop, New Voices, Crannog and various other publications. She is currently working on a collection of poetry as well as a collection of short fiction.
Peter Phillips lives in London and enjoys spending time in Norfolk. He has 2 collections of poetry from Hearing Eye, his latest is Wide Skies, Salt and Best Bitter.
Phil Poole was born Birmingham and has lived in London since the 1960s. He has also spent time in Germany and has translated poems by Rilke. His poems have appreared in anthologies such as In The Company Of Poets (Hearing Eye) and more recently in Gathering Diamonds from the Well (Word for Word).
Anne Ryland lives in Berwick-upon-Tweed, where she teaches in adult education and runs occasional poetry workshops. Her collection, Autumnologist (Arrowhead Press, 2006), was shortlisted for the 2007 Forward Prize for Best First Collection.
Anne Stewart is the founder and editor of poetry p f – www.poetrypf.co.uk – a growing showcase of today’s poets, and is
one of the Ten Hallam Poets (anthology, Mews Press) selected from Sheffield Hallam University’s MA in Creative Writing.
Paul Tanner scratched and dry-gagged his way through his first 22 years. Now he scrawls and rants whilst stacking shelves. His hobbies include pillaging, scrawling and colouring in.
Hannah Welfare was born in 1969 and lives in Northumberland. She has had two volumes of poetry, Garden Of Ghosts and Insect Nights, published by The Kite Modern Poetry Series and poems
published in various ‘small press’ magazines.
Ben Wilkinson is reading English and Philosophy at the University of Sheffield. Poems have appeared in Poetry Review, The Frogmore Papers, and the TLS.
Robin Lindsay Wilson received a commendation in the National Poetry Competition in 2004. He currently works at Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh as a lecturer in Acting and Performing. He has had over a hundred poems accepted for publication in magazines in the last three years.
