Domination (text)
Domination is an ugly thing
But it makes the stockbrokers sing
From Biarritz to Aviemore they do have a fling
To country clubs vases of lovely cash they bring
From Malibu they grease the economy and even too at Tring
Whilst Roger Penrose claims the world is make of string
And Lily Allen says to all of her fans give us a little ring
Gods remember Crosby Bing and his little I Ching
And underneath the black oceans money is a buccaneering king
One emperor called his dog a ding
Whilst his dog replied with downcast eyes I will call you Ming
Domination is an ugly thing
But it makes stockbrokers sing
From Biarritz to Aviemore they do have a fling
Better pong than ping and ding-a-ling
To all fiscal strife
Like flocks of birds in the temple of love
The brokers take wondrous wing
Blessed by the Lord above and his May dove
They are experts at vowing
For as man said it’s all in your head
Your words determine your realism bling
And we know that dominion’s chief is a pristine king
By jing said Rhodes looking down his nose
For Queen Vic I’ve extended the shires
This ain’t no hoax it ain’t a pose
Don’t change the wording
It’s our desire
Domination is an ugly thing
But it makes stockbrokers sing
From Biarritz to Aviemore they do freely zing.
