There’s a sensuous Yorkshire lass with her horse
Rides down into yon Beckhole
& the beer they drink is called Black Dog
One hundred ninety nine steps arise
to the blackened graves
at St. Mary’s Church
& then go to your woman
even should heather be blooming
there’s mist on the moor
& the sheep are there, their
eyes horizontal slits
the opposite of cats
