Giants: rope them while they sleep
In those days, I practised self-presentation,
Worrying about what to do with a fichu and
Cowering behind my convenient façade.
Then, I married the school-teacher, hoping
For correction. We took to heating up
Discussions on the gas ring in the corner of our room.
I almost went into business. But he wanted
A thousand euros for the truffle hound and
I could see the dog had glaucoma.
In an intriguing genre shift, I offered
To rewrite Tatiana’s letter for her, but
Subconsciously, she always desired rejection.
Now, about this affair with the Giant.
