Lilacs
that far
for so little. to be-
wilder yourself
in all
that hysterical lilac, the
bob and
heave, the wind
scrubbing leaf
against
leaf. and the flowers, blinding
your fingers, that
the mouth
fill, the trough cram,
laminated,
with these living cinders. that
far, that the
teased roots catch, the eyes
fall
through the tossed sounds of its
boughs, branches, shoots.
