Hear
The voice of water is sweet Greek
hatched into air, the size of eggs.
Flurry, flourish, flounder,
a winsome walker on silent blossoms
it has a fly-by-night horror.
The voice of water tells lies!
Freedom it says incubates
time into mediocrity. It lies.
Send it to the gale, flying.
Sit back with an appetite
and it will return hesitant
dipple-toed, flimsy, floating.
Serious, forthright, aerating it comes,
goes over, goes away, freed,
enviserated.
Hurry, eat out the gathered yoke
for the voice of water elevates. Elevates.
