Always more

The space that’s kept in a building site slides
With the sounds that get heard only always the same there’s
An expectancy covering itself with a destiny - the designs
Some architect rummaged through drawers in the back of his mind to find.
But where the sound was going to be now hear
Also where the sound sinks back to, the nowhere where
Unreal, building against the blank even the sky denies
In the impossibility of silence, the reverse of the incessant building’s
                                                                                 chance to appear.
‘Cause in great distance, even the difficult small
Space between us finds its echo, since the way we strain
‘s required of us, to keep it, open enough to cross, more
Than the illusion the horizon makes us meet - the wall - the same way
Not out of here but into further on to where the horizon doesn’t lead
Beyond the immediate need, always more than what’s there in what’s
                                                                                   there to be seen.
