When I moved out
to buy happiness
in Arcadia
larks flew before me
The sundial wrote time
on the trees
cherries hung ripe
under the rainbow
Salesmen at the market
assailed me
with cries and promises
offered me by
a cask that sparkled
I paid with roses
and brought golden
vinegar
home
