Digging
trees sink into
silhouettes
this autumn evening
roots coming up
tinted, smelling, earthy pink
outside the loo
lilies-of-the-valley
scented air
moonlight through the trees
the soft push of mushrooms
truffles
the puppy snuffles
and prefers his bone
garden in the morning
under the mulch
wormlings
