Buying perfumes and lipsticks' a full-time occupation
Or falling in love again regular as clockwork is

My instrument of pleasure, my hair's breadth of preference
My struggle with the nearest light source stretched over canvas

Paper or cloth so our paths cross once more
A tall order for high energy on half power

One last chance there and here and some distance in between

The drops from a dropper drops in the Atlantic Ocean

All talk and all to fall for perhaps or never who's to say
Aren't you the one lucky with what pops in perks up

And parks so much so we'd wondered where you'd gone

For what we sometime were, we are no more

Grown into someone else's name the usual stories
Don't fit into something someone else's naming

Morning emerges to light above the quarter-light
A quarter of a century away no place to be or go
