Featured Poet (12): Andrew McNeillie
Andrew McNeillie was born in 1946, and grew up in North Wales. He worked as a news reporter in South Wales, Liverpool and London, before moving to Inishmore in 1968-9. He subsequently read English at Magdalen College, Oxford, and now works in Oxford as Literature Publisher for Blackwell Publishers. His first collection of poems, Nevermore, is published in the Oxford Poets series by Carcanet; and his memoir, An Aran Keening: Adventures in the Western World, is forthcoming in spring 2001 from Lilliput Press, Dublin.
