Special message from the new chair of Cannon Poets
As the new Chair and a relative newcomer to the 21 year history of the group, I want to add my congratulations to all those who have been part of founding, shaping and developing the life of Cannon Poets through its childhood, adolescence and now into its era of young adulthood. In the two years I have been a member I have seen many changes and at the end of the day the group's vibrancy is down to the individual members who turn up every month and share their unique contributions to our emerging body of poetry. Some of this can be enjoyed in the celebratory anthology of Broadside X while other pieces are scattered through the pages of our present quarterly collection. Thanks to all of you and I, in collaboration with the other committee members, look forward to helping steer Cannon Poets on its further journeying.
