Deception
Whichever taboos
you resist yourself with
in whichever thought streams you are a hostage
you will be unable to resist growth
One day it must rain
the earth must grow green
and flowers must bloom
reds, yellows
to spite you
and the skies will thunder
and then
if you look back into the past
so as to crack the taboos
you discover you have grown
as you break the seed
but everything
is so young
Suddenly
reality strikes you
so as to avoid defeat
by your own alienation
you search for familiar taboos to embrace
with the comfort of finding what is searched for
you take a deep breath to life
As though snatching what you have lost
you go on deceiving.
