The Classroom Clock
That ticking clock, that clicking clock
Upon the classroom wall
That old clock, that cold clock
That hardly moves at all
Those big hands, those slow hands
To which my eyes are drawn
That round clock, that sound clock
Which fills me with such scorn
That glaring clock, that staring clock
Always looking down on me
That clocking clock, that crawling clock
Is it stuck on half-past three?
That sneering clock, that jeering clock
Hung just above the door
That clean clock, that mean clock
Will it never get to four?
