The road was thick with smoke,
shaky images are chief in the field,
you know God, relaxed, let slip
a small child, genuinely pleased ...
But is it really him? documented in Arabic;
a woman, sometimes sinister
"screaming in fear", was taken for a Thai bride
– they had not searched it.
Nude, veined,
we came together in support of our beliefs;
it was pitch dark. How do you know
you are not dreaming? they said,
Fear gives us this intelligence. We know
each other better now. There is no link.
