Half asleep tree
the night air couldn't help but come in
when the boy screamed up
the half-asleep tree
it has stayed inside that night air
which filled his pupils when he watched for
the doorframe to give him a sign
a sign that he could do
what others had feared
he ties himself up knowing that the second he chooses
to swing
the air will be frozen
in his mother's nostrils
lovingly he sings himself
a song of forgiveness
