Sunset love at 4:34am
Sometimes, when I’m alone like this, I wonder what it would be
like to saw your legs off, to kick down that doorway, to scoop
my eye out with a spoon. I wonder what it would be like if I
had never been born at all.
In my chest is an aching that never ends. I am
cold. I am hot. I am alive. There is no release.
All torment. All pain.
All empty.

my steel lover smiles a deep red grin, I’m open wide, he
enters me, his deep, deep kiss. He fills me. Warmer than
love. His promises my pain.
I am elated. I am a dancer.
