Serious or trivial, just or unjust
people must be kept on good terms
self-sufficiency is also a good –
aptitude to learn, quick wits
the more so the more memorable
games, relaxation and sleep.
Being able to be mocked, and mocking with grace
they also nourish suspicions
if one thing is possible, then so is the other
like dogs biting on stones
but not touching the one that throws them
a kind of communal expediency
the same thing threatens them both.
