Traveller's Tale
For my generation
announces young Schlemiel
SEX
holds no mysteries.
Soursarcastic listen
old Shmattecreeper, Slyboots, &
Schuldenfrei,
travellers around the
sandwichbar table.
Soon
each will hump his
lot around the huggermugger
warren behind Oxford Street,
Schlemiel
shuffling from
office to office will dream
of bonhomie at parties of
sparkling ease
& of the thicklegged girl
who almost said yes
last year in the kibbutz.
