David Annwn is an Anglo-Welsh poet and critic resident in West Yorkshire. His most recent books include Geisterbilder: a Mnemonic for Emmy Hemmings, (IsPress) and the collaborations The Last Hunting of the Lizopard with Alan Halsey and It Means Nothing to Me with Geraldine Monk (both from West House Books.) His forthcoming collection is Bela Fawr's Cabaret.
Chris Brownsword's most recent publication is '(the poultice route)' (Gargoyle Editions, 2006). With Fleets of Devils I Have Roamed, Autobiography of a Hand Grenade and Melanie in Paper Wings will be self-published in a limited edition during October, November and December 2007.
Matthew Clegg recieved an Eric Gregory Award in 1997. His collections include Lost Between Stations (Northern Lights, 2000) and Nobody Sonnets (Longbarrow, 2005). The Power-line is forthcoming from Wrecking Ball Press.
Emily Critchley recently completed a PhD in contemporary American women's experimental poetry at Cambridge. The Dirt Glitch Land Alter Affair and How to Make Millions were published by Arehouse in 2004. Her contributions to this issue are all taken from When I say I believe women... first published by Bad Press in 2006.
Frances Presley was born in Derbyshire, grew up in Lincolnshire and Somerset, and lives in north London. Recent publications include: Paravane: New and Selected Poems 1996-2003 (Salt, 2004); Myne: New & Selected Poems & Prose 1976-2005 (Shearsman, 2006); and an essay in The Salt Companion to Geraldine Monk (Salt, 2007).
Scott Thurston's most recent book is Hold: Poems 1994-2004 (Shearsman, 2006). He lectures in English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Salford and has published widely on British innovative poetries. He edits The Radiator, a journal of poetics. Shearsman will publish Momentum in 2008.
