Kate Ling
Magma showcase
In our Showcase we present a poet whose work we would like to see more widely known. Kate Ling was the Blue Nose Poet of the Year 1999 and was
commended in the National Poetry Competition in that year. Her poems have appeared in the Poetry School anthology, Tying the Song (Enitharmon
2000) and Plant Care : A Festschrift for Mimi Khalvati (Linda Lee Books 2004). Until 2002 she was an English teacher in a London comprehensive
school. She lives in South-East London and has three young children.
