second aeon 14. new look, bigger, better & still the same price. i'd like to thank the numerous people who responded so well to our appeal for cash in the last issue - this is the result of your givings. we are still short of funds of course & the obvious solutions to the problem are not as simple as they seem: raising the selling price of the magazine would result in less people buying it & cutting down the number of pages would mean leaving out so much good work. so if
you'd like to see second aeon continue as it is now we'd appreciate your help

   part of the new look is in the content: features on signalism in yugoslavia, on tom phillips' a humument; an interview with allen ginsberg; longer prose works including opal nations' hilarious stanley & tie-tars. all items of a kind never included before in second aeon's basically all-poetry earlier issues. any reaction/feedback from readers on this new style of content would be appreciated.

   i'd also like to thank the welsh arts council for their continued support of poetry magazines & small presses. without that support we'd be lost - a cut back of the nature recently seen in england would be even more disasterous here.
