Everyday America
No seriously there was this guy and right he was
like a major social inadequate but he was the son
of like NASA’s top computer-security expert?
and he used to look over his father’s shoulder as
he worked at home, and then for a bet at high school
to gain some headway with this girl? he like enters
a virus in the system which he figures he can like
neutralise? but it has this major error in it which like
he hadn’t checked and the thing’s like multiplying
itself until it’s in like, 40% of the Pentagon
computers? and the scanners are showing like
the Soviets are sending like, like nuclear missiles over?
and Reagan is punching his button like crazy, but
no way can anything happen cos when Ron was in
they made sure he had a dummy one? But anyhow
it’s serious, and they get his dad, OK, to trace
the virus back and so he traces it back to his own
computer and he’s going freaked, like did he do it
in his sleep, like is he a schizo? - and by the way
at home his wife’s like trying to tell him like
he works too hard and ignores their son?
and finally the son says, OK, I did it Pop, and
he’s, How can I prosecute my own son? but
it’s his job, OK? so the son’s in penitentiary and
there’s all these big black guys? but he gets them
on his side by showing them how they can like,
bust into the gaol’s alarm systems? and half of them escape?
so at the trial his attorney makes this plea like,
being in gaol’ll get him in the wrong company?
and vice versa? So they let him off, and now
he works with his dad and his mom’s OK too,
and he wrote a book and like, married the girl and now
it’s this hit movie? You know like, based on the true story.
