`Rushing towards our destiny, choleric in our resolve ' - 'Meantime, p27
The first issue of 2006 and Lamport Court finds itself in contemplative mood. Housed in its new, roomy A4 format, issue 6 erupts with an explosion and ends in a pop-art shoot-out: in-between these violent episodes are nostalgic poems, fearful poems; poems depicting art and loss ... poems full of anxiety. Welcome!
Thanks to featured artist Naomi Kashiwagi whose intriguing art/ text/ music translations are reproduced primarily across the centre pages.
