Editorial

We have had a wet few months since our last issue and, as we write, a reticent summer is only just making its presence felt. Now that this issue is on its way and we see the assembled product in all its glory, we find that it, too, is somewhat lacking in sunshine. As we assemble the poems, the magazine takes on, to some extent, a life of its own. If it’s raining, it’s raining. This is not to say that we do not have some excellent work, as usual, and we think you will find the poems well worth your attention, but you could be forgiven for looking for a little more blue sky.

The cover illustration is again from the work of Nora Lavrin and again we thank John for allowing us to use his mother's work.

Enjoy the magazine. Perhaps those of you who write to tell us how much you appreciate it could persuade a friend or two to subscribe to our next issue and give us record sales for issue 25.
