the bullies, the scum, the scream of a rocket
the next time they look at you
dismiss them as honesty
as hatred
let them forget you
like a lost thought in their youth
let them push on.
know that they find something in it
in their disturbance of the moment
realise that their need for you
is quite important
and so
like a mother pushing her first nipple
past the lips of her wanton infant
let them have their moment
their spoken word
their push & shove
for their sake
