Backsliding down the
banisters wheeee I hit
the bend and look no hands
land on the bum end
at Mrs Mcgregors sandalled feet
far from the cry of her native
heather north of
bordertown Berwick
whence she came.
Looking up to finger
pointing towards punishment bench.
Sitting in line outside noexcuses
dont run walk dont talk walk
don’t.
Do up your shoelaces do your
homework on time do your hair
do your
thirteen times.
Time waits for noone at noon
bell and brr races for first to reach
cloaks and outdragging
satchel for sandwich lunch.
Ner ner ner ner ner you cant
find me behind hideandseek bike
shed snuffing illicit drag of
dads fagend.
Handsliding up banisters
lie on bed after day
of satisstairfaction
