Collages and writing (text)
I live at Adamson Road. It is located in Swiss Cottage, about a 3 minutes walk from the station. On Wednesdays and Fridays there is a cafe stall and food stalls, about 2 minutes from the hostel. Every week I go to the cafe stall and food stalls to buy something for lunch; I usually get rice with vegetables.
There is a theatre in the area. There are always a lot of students around. There is a little park behind the theatre. Hampstead Heath, a big country park of 800 acres, is only a mile away.
My room is on the 3rd floor; I shared the flat with my friend Quentin. Recently he moved into a new project, and soon I will have a new flatmate.
There are many interesting things to do here. Gardening is my favourite activity. I love looking after the garden and plant bulbs: Daffodils and Hyacinths. I also enjoy cooking. We usually prepare vegetarian dishes. I especially liked the vegetarian Shepherds Pie.
On Tuesdays I attend Literacy class. I practice reading and writing. We also do many grammar exercises and discuss many topics. I like Wednesdays because we make smoothies. Usually we use apples and pears, we add milk and honey, and yoghurt. I like smoothies because they are healthy and delicious.
On Fridays we watch DVDs. Clients gather in the TV room. Sometimes I really like the films, but not always. I liked the film last week. It was called Jason and the Argonauts.
Another activity I like is walking. There are usually two of us and Eliana who takes us to Primrose Hill or Hampstead. Sometimes we stop at the cafe for a rest and have a coffee or tea, and I really enjoy a bowl of porridge.
I also attend an Art group. We draw and paint and sometimes make prints for T-Shirts and make mosaic pictures.
I really like living at Adamson Road. When I move back to my flat, I will still visit the project.
