Before my departure
They came and looked
under the seat. In the luggage-rack
they looked for someone. And,
thank you, they said.
On top of the roof, between the wheels,
they were looking for someone.
They didn't
look under my cap.
The earth was numb.
I took the snow.
In my coat-pocket
I took the snow along.
