Harry Garlick comes from Liverpool, where he was educated, and at Manchester University. He was first published and broadcast as a university poet, before moving to the Far East, where he has spent most of his working life. He has tried to immerse himself in Asian culture. The later years of his Eastern career were spent working with the UNO on information technology. He is married to the Chinese painter Chan Ching-Wah. They live in London.
Jenny Swann studied English and Art History and has worked at the Tate Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Her poetry has appeared in a number of journals and anthologies.
Ian Parks was born in Mexborough. Now living in Bolton, he is Reader Development Officer for Bolton Libraries. His collection, A Climb through Altered Landscapes, was published by Blackwater in 1998.
Diana Syder lives in Derbyshire. Her poems have appeared widely in magazines. Her collection, Hubble, is published by Smith/Doorstop.
Idris Caffre's poems have been published widely in magazines and two collections, Pacing Backwards (Feather Books 1996) and Other Places (Original Plus Press 1998).
Anna Robinson lives in Central London. She works part-time as a librarian and teacher at HMP Brixton. Her poems have been published in a range of magazines.
Mike Barlow is a visual artist and poet. He lives in Lancaster. A prizewinner in the Lancaster Litfest Competition 1997, and Runner-up for the 1997 Trewithen Prize. His poems have been published in a number of magazines.
Ra Page lives in Manchester. He is a freelance journalist, reviewer and poet. His work has been published in a range of magazines.
Katherine Frost lives in London. Her work has appeared in a variety of poetry magazines.
Royston Swarbrooke has worked for the Manchester family Health Authority and currently works in London for The Fatima Mansions. His poems have appeared in several magazines.
