Grimm Rules
There has to be a journey
past wolves and through thorny thickets.
Something must be endured.
The bad girl croaks out ravens,
her loaves are stones. The good sister's
bread rises; words of peace turn into doves.
Its always the third son, the stupid one,
who pities the sour old woman.
The fool knows the answer to the riddle.
The right prince always gets the girl,
learns to play the system, finds out
just what it was she really wanted.
The evil witch knows her own oven
but cannot see what's under her nose.
She loses her three powers easily.
Justice must be done but not before
the glass mountain is scaled, the impossible
accomplished, the bloody shirt washed clean.
