1. To see all outright
Refuse the landscape
And the scope of sight.
Only within you
Do the tangled lines
Clear to sense, to signs:
The world's smashed face there
Is pieced together.
2. I LIVED IN AN EYE
THERE FOR ITSELF COLOUR KEPT
IMAGES.
3. I was in the drunk
Pupil of the net
That ringed me with globes
Without one wingbeat.
- And was troubled by
His unmoving eye
Whose twofold nature
Grounded the creature.
4. The peak invisible? Cross-question space.
Stare at the crystalline. Uproot the lashes:
They will tell images barred from the mind.
For the real is nothing but a shadow
Of the real, a scrap, a shred, a text banned
By those judges, our senses, that warp the vast
to cheat us of the Mighty Secret's end.
