Falling words
Words from an interview with Dame Iris Murdoch, Summer, 1996
I am in a falling place. The words
do not do and I can’t find anything.
I think I am in a very bad quiet;
I just haven’t got an otherwise.
At the moment I’m just falling,
trying to get out of the words;
otherwise I am in an afraid. Help.
I am trying to get out of a quiet.
The words at the moment are just falling
and the words do not do. At the moment
I haven’t yet got anything. I’m just
falling, falling. I’m trying to get
a think. I am afraid that at the
moment I am just very bad. Afraid.
