I Had a Dream
I had a dream that I wished would be true.
So many nights I wished that dream would come true.
Restless, tired, stressed,
Wishing that dream would come true.
It never did.
But maybe some day the dream will come true.
Tears in my eyes and all the pain,
I still believe the dream will come true.
I love the dream, even though it’s not true,
But it keeps you going when you are feeling blue.
