Sorry.
It’s easy to say sorry,
But it can be hard to mean it.
It’s just a word,
But it’s a real word that you have to think about before you say it.
If you don’t really mean it you could really make things worse.
I’m sorry for all the mistakes I’ve made in my life.
I’m sorry for the way people treat those of us who are on
the margins of society.
I’m sorry for the people who hit, spit and kick Homeless people.
Look in the mirror and think it could be you one day,
Then you will know what it feels like.
Be sorry for yourself and change your ways.
Living on the street makes you feel sorry for yourself.
We don’t want it.
Never asked for it.
Try a sleeping bag on a cold and rainy night.
That’s when you have a right to feel sorry for yourself.
If you do say sorry,
Mean it.
Otherwise don’t waste your breath.
Sorry is a word.
