and a blackbird scattering fro-
st-covered leaves; shoul-
d we invite it to the party
or ignore it; my mother ba-
ked fairy cakes and Welsh ca-
kes, told so many tales sh-
e engraved me with her li-
fe; Free will, the preacher shou-
ts but I saunter away,
nothing is actual in his sil-
vered mirror; the black-
bird wants to give me a gi-
ft, the lighthouse beams of it-
s beak penetrating the day.
