The BHS James W Hackett International Haiku Award 2005
“I wish to thank all the poets who submitted their haiku for the Award. I have very much enjoyed reading them. Thanks also to Martin Lucas and Mathew Paul for their work in preparing the poems for adjudication, and to David Steele for his assistance in the management of the Award”
Administrator’s notes:
The majority of poets this year were from England at 45% and second came the US with 15%. Ireland came third with 9% and then New Zealand and Australia with 6% and 3% respectively. Also represented were Canada, Wales, Denmark and Japan.
