James Taylor
My favourite artist is James Taylor, the talented American
vocal artist, one of the best American singers. His major works
are Mudslide Slim, Fire and Rain, Sweet Baby James, Carolina
in my Mind, Rainy Day Man and Walking Man.
Born in Boston, he was an existentialist musician, who was also
addicted to drugs. He studied music in college and university,
married Carly Simon and was friends with Carole King.
He had one of the best family backgrounds but it is said he
suffered from mental illness. He travelled widely
and performed in numerous concerts and is today a famous and
successful vocal artist.
James Taylor means a lot to me, I think he is the best artist in
the whole world. He has art in his personality. Back home in
Iran I used to listen to his albums: Mudslide Slim, Sweet Baby
James and Walking Man.
