With your Jean Seberg smile
And Gene Vincent leg
You were a little too flawed
To act my Joan of Arc
Adopting a rock star stance
One leg stuck behind
As you held onto the
Microphone stand
Or was that just to
keep you on your feet
While the light shone off
your tight leather suit
Of Copenhagen blue
You recited your poetry
In reality a list
Of all your lovers
And the various ways
They hurt you
Turn the spotlight off baby
And send the band home.
