untitled poem (text)
I WAKE IN THE MORNINGS
FEELINGS ARE SO BLUE
NO ROUTINE IN MOTION
SINCE THE DAY I LOST YOU
THE MEMORIES THAT I HAVE INSIDE
ARE LIKE YESTERDAY AGAIN
BUT MY FEELINGS OF NUMBNESS
I JUST CANT RELEASE THE PAIN
THE TIME AGAIN IS COMING
WHEN YOUR ILLNESS WAS SUCH AGHAST
THOUGHTS OF BEING CURED
WAS NEVER MEANT TO LAST
I ALWAYS FEEL YOU NEAR ME
I ALWAYS HEAR YOUR VOICE
BUT TO GIVE YOU HUGS AND KISSES
TAKEN AWAY FROM ME NO CHOICE
WE’LL BE TOGETHER AGAIN
IN TIME TO COME
BUT YOU’LL ALWAYS BE MY DAD
THROUGH THE SNOW, RAIN AND SUN
