Slipping along a shady lane. Thinking of gum trees in Australia, and an Aborigine, thinking of water in a great lake beneath his feet.
Licking slowly at an ice cream. Thinking of the Namib, and the smooth dunes that reach inside a soul with peace, and an almost empty stretch of street in a town on the fringe.
Sailing towards a velvet horizon. Thinking of a girl with olive coloured skin, walking with a triple hip swing rhythm, thinking of sunshine and a song with the word ‘sardine’ in its title.
