Embrace the Man
The bravery of psylicibin. The return
of men who took it on the lam, brave
men, who never saw the light of day.
Men of inscrutable lusts and movements,
the size of balloons and the color of apes.
I want a man to come when I call, Today,
tomorrow, Friday.
This, Madam, is a man. Not an ordinary man,
but a man of unusual specifications. A man
guaranteed in the years ahead when it may
be hard to find one. A horizontal man
of impeccable taste. A precipitous man
with years of experience. Here is a man
who knows what he’s doing. He can be left
alone and relied upon. He’s not the sort
to forget a favor. You see to him
and he’ll never let you down.
I’ve always adored men. They have that
little something which brightens the
dullest daydreams. They know how to
get things done. When they have something
to say, nothing gets in the way of their
saying it. I have yet to meet a man who
wasn’t in some way an asset. You probably
feel this yourself. While practically
everything else is going downhill, man
is pumping his two-wheeler upstream,
greeting the fishes, watering the lawn,
quietly taking notes for the world’s benefit.
What more can you ask?
