Autumn Child
Always alone whenever the happy angels played my little autumn
child cries so dearly at the future which is happening just
like the past if only people would speak if only people would
say truths which won’t hurt child as he is ready and she is ready
ready for the fireworks coning to town.
Trees shed leaves like people shed people a panorama shortens
light turns dull an all time lull that continues.
Child thinks whenever close become as one how wrong how damned
wrong oh so wrong as autumn becomes the eternal season sixty
three months long playing alone is easy all alone is hard
with a black and grey existence it is surprising what a tear
can release only water coming to town.
Trees shed leaves like people shed people a panorama shortens
light turns dull an all time lull so continues.
Sacks are not meant to hide childish dreams face to face
releasing is oh so right but as autumn strives another month
the child becomes younger and wiser for he sees all truth and
she speaks all truth no lies children never lie well my autumn
child doesn’t here’s leaving town.
Trees shed leaves like people shed people a panorama shortens
light turns dull an all time lull which continues.
The autumn child never did reach heights above the stars a
prophecy although only I know the truth behind the autumn child
not foolish just helping others to no avail and the town became
miles away leaving a friend who can do everything but befriend.
