Heidi Ballard (text)
God closed your eyes to ease your pain
To wish you back would be in vain
You suffered so much you told so few
You did not deserve what you went through
You fought so hard throughout the years
But suffered quietly through painful tears
Life goes on without you but nothing here
is the same
It’s hard to hold back tears when
someone says your name
Your life came to a sudden end
As you lived and died everyone’s friend.
You closed your eyes and went to sleep
In no more pain you can rest in peace
You will never be forgotten
Your memory will hold
The stories that we had together will be
left untold
With the thought of why the Good have
to die.
Love and hugs
