Sleepwalking by the sea
Whose wave caresses, not fails,
And all through is based blue.
The empty boat moves to
This praying woman with her child;
A flower flames alien red in her hands
As she is caught in rigid walk across cool blue sands.
Woman, child, flower, these three
Are one, and the lone boat calls
Like a ripe fruit to be picked.
