The Little Church of St Peter's at Pyrawang
Count up to twelve it can
has never lost count
Remembers the number
by the number of apostles at supper
on the inside wall
And the belfry has four corners
the dome eight,
that makes
twelve for the day,
twelve for the night
So simple is it to know
to believe much harder
The little bell rings
as if the sexton
like a blacksmith hammered out Sunday
