 Neon Highway was set up in 2002. The magazine's main purpose is to publish more alternative work by artists and poets, particularly the visionary, experimental pulp and sci fi.

It is issued 2 times a year and can be subscribed to via the editor, Alice Lenkiewicz.

Neon Highway also acts as a springboard for poets who wish to read their work in public in the north west.
