where the hand of God still reaches
where faces of children in windows flutter like heralds
where people are more ebullient than rivers
where winds blow and clash together
where birds still return in winter
where love is spoken of even earnestly
In my country on the corner of Europe
where we live out of one crock
out of one shaft of air
words again have their meaning
